FUNERAL CELEBRATION

We have long been offering services in the municipality of Valdisotto (a symbolic site of the disastrous 1987 earthquake that struck our region). In addition to arranging the chapels of rest, we also organize funeral services at the town's three parish churches, as follows: - Parish Church of Saints Lorenzo and Colombano in Oga – Dedicated to Saints Lorenzo and Colombano. The former, a martyr and deacon burned alive on a gridiron; the latter, an Irish missionary venerated for millennia in Alta Valtellina; - Parish Church of Santa Maria Assunta in Cepina – Located at Via Roma 51 and dedicated to the Virgin of the Assumption, the church was consecrated in 1356. - The ancient church of Santa Lucia stands in the hamlet of the same name in the municipality of Valdisotto. In addition to the aforementioned parish churches, noteworthy for their artistic beauty is the church of San Pietro, overlooking a terrace overlooking Bormio's large amphitheater. It is dedicated to Saints Peter, Erasmus, and Marcellinus, martyred during Diocletian's persecutions and particularly venerated after the relics of Peter and Marcellinus were transferred to Seligenstadt in Germany in the 9th century.
